A law to fight slavery. Add your voice!
The major focus of Baptist World Aid and Catalyst groups this year has been Modern Slavery. The Australian Government is at present conducting an inquiry into introducing a Modern Slavery Act in Australia. This Act could require companies to report on slavery and human trafficking in their supply chains. BWA believes that it is critical for Australia to adopt legislation that requires companies to take greater responsibility for the human rights abuses in their supply chains.
