Narwee Baptist
Soccer Club in its present form has been in existence since
1998, pioneered by Cameron Eccleston and Michael Bartlett. Entering
the Raahauge Cup in the southern division, in its first season
the Club's First Grade team went through undefeated, completing
a memorable season with a tightly fought 2-1 victory in the
Grand Final.
In the same
year, a composite team of First and Reserve Graders was also
successful in winning a division of the midweek knockout competition

In 1999,
the Club was promoted to the First Division, and in a season
plagued by bad weather and injuries, niether teams were able
to make the semi-finals. Nonetheless the players represented
the Club well given the tough competition.
The Year
2000 saw a return to Southern Division soccer. Taking both grades
into account, 2000 was our most successful year with First Grade
finishing in the top 3 and Reserve Grade finishing equal 4th,
only missing out on the finals on goal difference.
Season 2001
saw a number of new additions to the squad, and saw our First
Grade team win the Grand Final with a good 3-0 victory over
Mortdale (below). Our Reserve Grade team narrowly missed-out
on a Finals spot.
