Baptist World Aid- Child Sponsorship Sunday

On Sunday 18th October we will be hearing from Melissa Lipsett, CEO of Baptist World Aid at all services, as she shares

about the importance of Child Sponsorship through BWA, the impact it has had over the last 50 years, and how we can get involved. Taste & See- Women’s Multicultural Night!

Ladies, join us on Saturday 7th November 2026 from 6pm for an International Food and Fellowship Night at NBC!

Explore six different cultural booths tasting a variety of savouries, sweets, drinks and desserts. Enjoy cultural displays, learn about our various homelands, and partake in activities, and trivia. We will also have a fashion parade of costumes and prizes for winners, as well as live entertainment of song and dance, and a special message on the love of God and the beautiful diversity in His creation among us!

Where: NBC Hall (33-39 Baumans Road Peakhurst)

Operation Christmas Child

We hope you have enjoyed packing your shoeboxes and blessing children in need! They are now due to be returned (4th October). The boxes need to be collected, transported to sorting warehouses, then go to children in many different regions, particularly South Pacific and South East Asia, along with the message of Jesus and his love for them. Please ensure you return filled shoeboxes as soon as possible.

Our Ministries

At Narwee, there are opportunities to learn, grow and serve, no matter your stage of life.

Kidz @ NBC

Our vibrant kids ministry nurtures kids through early childhood through to the end of primary school.

With SPLAT (Year K-2) and BLAST (Year 3-6)  Kidz Clubs, Kidz Church, Camps, Holiday Club your kids will learn about Jesus and have incredible fun while doing it.

Youth @ NBC

The fun only accelerates for youth in years 7-12. We focus on discipleship through our weekly Sunday afternoon BLOC groups and on Friday nights our Youth Group turn up the volume for some big games, big fun, and a big focus on the gospel.

Young Adults

Our young adults ministry caters to people roughly in the 18 to mid 30s bracket.

As people who want to know God we meet to understand his Word through home groups and actively serve Him in our lives, at Church and in the Riverwood/Peakhurst/Narwee community.

Families and Adults

There are plenty of home groups and activities on offer for Adults of all ages. We have Creative Craft, social activity groups, Church and much more.

At Narwee Baptist Church we have ministries for every age group that meet regularly between February and December. In addition we run Christianity Explained and Discovering Discipleship courses. If this is something you’re interested in, get in touch.

As we gather in the presence of God, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land upon which we meet. In his wisdom and love, our heavenly Father entrusted this estate to the stewardship of the Bidjigal people of the Eora Nation. As we live together on these ancestral  lands, we acknowledge and pay our respects to the elders– past, present, and emerging– and pray that God will unite us all in knowledge of his Son, in whom all things were created.
