Sunday Services September 6

At the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on the topic of Father’s Day. At the 2pm Mandarin Service Lianbo Zhang will speak on A Father of Extravagant Love from Luke 15:11-32. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be speaking from Mark 2:1-3:12 on Lord of the Law.

This Sunday, we launch our annual Operation Christmas Child appeal, inviting people of our community to take a shoebox and fill it with appropriate goods and gifts to go to those in less fortunate countries. In the morning services (9am and 11am) Brett Hookham will be preaching on The Gospel for All from Acts 17:16-34. The 11am service will be a bilingual service, with Pastor Lianbo Zhang interpreting for the Mandarin speakers. Both morning services will be followed by a sausage sizzle with money raised going to the upcoming Youth Camp. The Quarterly Church Meeting will take place at 1pm.  At the 6pm service, Angelo Gratsounas will speak from Mark 1:21-45, Authority, Deliverance & Healing.

Ange Gratsounas will be speaking at the 9am and 11am services on The Effects of Gospel Preaching from Acts 17:1-15, and at the 6pm service led by the Youth Group, we will look at Following Immediately from Mark 1:14-20.

This Sunday, at the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking from Acts 16:6-40 on The saving and unifying power of the gospel. At the 2pm Mandarin Service Lianbo Zhang will speak on The power of the Gospel of Salvation from Acts 16:6-40. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will launch a new series on the book of Mark: Who is this Man? beginning with Mark 1:1-13, Prepared for and baptised.

At all three services (9am, 11am and 6pm) guest speaker Cameron Eccleston will be speaking from Luke 10:25-37 on Loving your Neighbourto promote Baptist World Aid Child Sponsorship. At the 2pm Mandarin Service Pastor Lianbo Zhang will be speaking on Only one thing from Luke 10: 38-42.

Ange Gratsounas will be continuing our series on Acts: The Gospel Spreads at the 9am and 11am services, with The Normal Pattern in Missions from Acts 14:1-26. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be concluding our Habakkuk series with Recalling and Renewing Faith from 3:1-19.

At the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on The Start of the Missionary Era as part of our series on the book of Acts (Acts 12:25-13:12). At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will continue our series on Habakkuk with the theme Standing, Waiting, Watching amid Confusion from Habakkuk 1:12-2:1
