Parent’s Meeting – transitioning children into youth

This is a great opportunity to hear about our transition strategy to ensure that our children move into our youth ministry when they hit high school. This is a key time in their lives where they face a variety of pressures to move away from Christ. Our youth ministry helps to evangelise and disciple young people so that they become mature young disciples.

A wonderful course for new Christians and for those who want to get a refresher in the basics of the Christian life to enable them to thrive in their walk with God. We use the seven week course, Back to Basics produced by Matthias Media.
7 Tuesday nights beginning October 17
7.30—9.00pm

With coffee and dessert

Course Topics:    Saved by God, Trusting in God, Living God’s Way, Listening to God, Talking to God, Meeting with God’s family, Meeting the world

This Sunday, at the morning service times of 9am and 11am, we will hear from Brett Hookham on Jesus’ prayer for us from John 17:20-26. Kidz Church starts back this week at 9am. At the 2pm Mandarin Service Lianbo Zhang will speak on Jesus’ prayer for us from John 17:20-26. At the 6pm service, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on Exiles: Pursue solidarity in view of suffering from 1 Peter 5:1-14.
