NOV 25 (AM): How big is your Jesus?

Sunday Services December 16

This week we start our Holiday Service time of 9:30am and this Sunday we will be hearing from Pastoral Care Pastor David Williams. At 2pm, the Mandarin service will hear Lianbo Zhang speak from Luke 15:25-32 on The Extravagant Love. At 6pm, we will be hosting our annual Christmas Fair & Community Carols event at Peakhurst Public School- the Fair begins at 6pm and the Carols at 8pm. We hope you can make it; bring a rug or chair, and your family and friends for some joyous caroling and celebration!

Sunday Services December 9

This Sunday at our 9am and 11am services Ange Gratsounas will speak on Learning from Old Zechariah from Luke 1:67-80. At the 9am service we will have a special Kidz Church Christmas presentation. At the 2pm Mandarin service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking from Matthew 1:18-25, Jesus Comes for You. At the 6pm service, we will have Luke Bartlett’s official farewell from the role of Youth Pastor, as well as the Baptism of Sarah Hatton. Ange will speak on Authentic Gospel Ministry from Colossians 1:24-2:5. The service will be followed by a Christmas Dinner in the hall.

Sunday Services December 2

This Sunday at the 9am and 11am services, we will be hearing from Ange Gratsounas will begin an Advent series speaking on Learning from Mary from Luke 1:39-56. At the 2pm Mandarin service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking on Sheep and Goats from Matthew 25:31-46. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be continuing our Beatitudes series with The Peacemaker and the Persecuted from Matthew 5:9-12

Carols Singing—Nursing Homes

Saturday December 8
A group from the church will be singing carols on Saturday 8th December two aged care facilities. Rehearsals will be held on Saturday November 24 and December 1 at 1pm at the church. All are very welcome. Please bring a packed lunch and we will share together on December 8 at a park. Contact David Williams at the church office or david@narweebaptist.org.au.

Catalyst

Sunday November 25 at 4pm in meeting room 4
November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, so this will be our topic as we close a year of focus on Domestic Violence in Catalyst groups throughout Australia. We will also take stock of where we are up to with other campaigns we have looked at in 2018.
