Ross Ciano is a passionate Italian Australian who grew up Catholic in West Ryde. After reading the Bible at the age of 16 he was shocked to discover that following Jesus is about relationship with God, not religion. He reckons that trusting in Christ is the best decision he has ever made. Ross has worked in ministry in the UK and started Marrickville Road Church in 2009. He has spoken at a number of conferences including KYCK in Katoomba. Ross is married to Rachel and they have two sons; Luca and Matteo. He loves his mum’s lasagna, Sydney FC, and real coffee.

Soul – State Library of NSW

On the 4th March we will be going to the Mitchell State Library to look at the exhibitions and have a wander around the library.
They have the AMAZE Gallery which has an ever changing selection of fascinating items from the Library’s extraordinary collection on show.
Opening hours of the exhibition is 10am to 5pm and admission is free.
You can also have lunch at Café Trim open hours are 10.30am to 4.30pm at the Library to give yourselves a break.
Meet: at St James Station Elizabeth Street entrance (street level) at 10am – walk to the library from there.

Prime Time—Death or Liberty Tour

Take part in the Battle of Vinegar Hill!  Don’t forget to wear something red or green (if you have it). An unusual, interactive tour.  We will receive a name tag during morning tea at Heritage Park and become a Redcoat or a Rebel as we follow the footsteps of the uprising throughout the day.  We will visit all the relevant rebellion sites and learn of “your” part in the uprising and the grim consequences of taking part. After lunch we will visit the newest attraction in the Hills District, Bella Vista Farm which was famed as the most productive orange orchard in the colony
