Flourish has the pleasure of presenting Bel Thomson in concert on Thursday, June 19th at 7pm.
Bel is an Australian award- winning singer, songwriter and speaker whose songs and stories draw audiences into stories of hope and weaves songs with real life stories of God’s faithfulness.
Bel’s latest album issue for release in May 2014 and signed CD’s will be available for purchase on the night.
A light supper will be provided on the evening.
Cost is $15 and are available after all services or from the church office 9534 2699.

Come and hear what she has to tell us about their work in the hospitals, universities etc

Prime Time – Mystery Tour

Coach leaves 8.00am

Come and join us as we travel by coach in a northerly direction before transferring to a cruise vessel where we will be served morning tea whilst enjoying wonderful scenery. (Hats and sunscreen are advisable.)

Then back on board our coach where we will be driven to our luncheon destination.

Our Pastor, Ange Gratsounas joins us and will a share a few words during our cruise.

Prime Time – Joadja

Coach leaves the church at 8.30am

Located in the Southern Highlands 138km from Sydney, in an isolated valley is the historic village of Joadja, established by the Australian Kerosene Oil and Mineral Company in the late 1870’s to facilitate the exploitation of the vast shale deposits in the valley walls.  The remains of the old buildings can still be seen, including the miner’s cottage, a schoolhouse, a church, a cemetery and shale ovens for the refinement of kerosene which have a World Heritage Listing.

Tour the area by tractor-train and enjoy morning tea and BBQ lunch here.

Topic: Jesus Brings wisdom for love, sex and relationships

Speaker: Joe Alberts
Joe is a practicing Clinical Psychologist. He lectures in the field of Group psychotherapy in the Counselling department at Morling College. He has a special interest in Mental Health and presents Mental First Aid Training courses and consults in the field of the management of mental health in organisations. Joe is an active member of Thornleigh Baptist Community Church where he heads up the mentoring initiative and serves as family group leader. Joe is married to Carin and has three children. He loves and rides things with two wheels and is a keen spearfisher.

Ezyway to learn English

EZYWAY is a new and simplified English learning program for those who wish to learn to read, write and pronounce English correctly. Ideal for anyone who would like to learn English as a second language. All are welcome!

When: Commencing Friday 19th July from 9am-11am
Where: Narwee Baptist Church basement (Corner of Baumans Rd and Gardinia Street Peakhurst)
