This full day tour of colonial Campbelltown includes a short, gentle stroll along historic Queen Street to view the heritage precinct and hear the Fisher’s Ghost story.  Judith will entertain us as she brings to life stories of Campbelltown pioneers and takes us on a journey to other very interesting places. All you can eat Buffet Lunch.

Prime Time – Science Centre & Planetarium

Welcome to our first Prime Time outing for 2015.  We are travelling to the Science Centre and Planetarium which is the major hands-on science centre in NSW. It offers exciting science experiences which are suitable for all ages.
Lunch will be at the Illawarra Master Builders Club and immediately after that we are off to Thirlmere to check out Thornton Brothers Roses, who knows ladies, someone might buy you a ‘red rose’.

Prime Time – Mystery Tour

Coach leaves 8.00am

Come and join us as we travel by coach in a northerly direction before transferring to a cruise vessel where we will be served morning tea whilst enjoying wonderful scenery. (Hats and sunscreen are advisable.)

Then back on board our coach where we will be driven to our luncheon destination.

Our Pastor, Ange Gratsounas joins us and will a share a few words during our cruise.

Prime Time – Joadja

October 15

Coach leaves the church at 8.30am

Located in the Southern Highlands 138km from Sydney, in an isolated valley is the historic village of Joadja, established by the Australian Kerosene Oil and Mineral Company in the late 1870’s to facilitate the exploitation of the vast shale deposits in the valley walls.  The remains of the old buildings can still be seen, including the miner’s cottage, a schoolhouse, a church, a cemetery and shale ovens for the refinement of kerosene which have a World Heritage Listing.

Tour the area by tractor-train and enjoy morning tea and BBQ lunch here.
