Please join us for a professionally catered two course buffet dinner as we hear from Dr Malcolm Gill and his wife Tamara about their experiences during Malcolm’s diagnosis and treatment for cancer.

Malcolm Gill is a lecturer in New Testament and Preaching at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. Married to Tamara with three young children, he was serving as a pastor at St Barnabas Broadway, when he was diagnosed with cancer.

You don’t have to be perfect; realistic child raising tips for parents and grandparents
Kim Oates is a paediatrician with an interest in child development, the problems of child abuse and advocacy on behalf of children. Kim is well published, having written 14 books and over 300 publications. Kim and wife Robyn worship at St Philips in Sydney. They have three children and nine grandchildren. Kim’s books include Twenty Tips for Parents and So now you’re a Grandparent.
A delicious High Tea will be served. Cost $15

Flourish – Gingerbread House

in Narwee Baptist Church hall
Escape the mad rush of Christmas and join us in a relaxed evening of constructing and decorating Gingerbread Houses.
Christmas slices and cakes will be served with tea and coffee during the evening and our own Liz Mansour will be sharing with us.
Gingerbread Houses with all ingredients included will be available for $25 each, Gingerbread Christmas Trees and Stars, with inclusions will be available for $5 each.

For the past 30 years Gill has found herself connecting with people in the Christian community and well beyond – including surfers, high school students and leaders on a local and International level,Together with husband Brett, they have pioneered the Christian Surfers movement in Australia and globally. Gill speaks in churches, schools and evangelistic settings.

Flourish Concert – One Enchanted Evening with Bel Thomson

Thursday June 19 at 7pm
Flourish has the pleasure of presenting Bel Thomson in concert on Thursday, June 19th at 7pm.
Bel is an Australian award- winning singer, songwriter and speaker whose songs and stories draw audiences into stories of hope and weaves songs with real life stories of God’s faithfulness.
Bel’s latest album issue for release in May 2014 and signed CD’s will be available for purchase on the night.
A light supper will be provided on the evening.
