Prime Time – Mystery Tour

Coach leaves 8.00am

Come and join us as we travel by coach in a northerly direction before transferring to a cruise vessel where we will be served morning tea whilst enjoying wonderful scenery. (Hats and sunscreen are advisable.)

Then back on board our coach where we will be driven to our luncheon destination.

Our Pastor, Ange Gratsounas joins us and will a share a few words during our cruise.

Prime Time – Joadja

October 15

Coach leaves the church at 8.30am

Located in the Southern Highlands 138km from Sydney, in an isolated valley is the historic village of Joadja, established by the Australian Kerosene Oil and Mineral Company in the late 1870’s to facilitate the exploitation of the vast shale deposits in the valley walls.  The remains of the old buildings can still be seen, including the miner’s cottage, a schoolhouse, a church, a cemetery and shale ovens for the refinement of kerosene which have a World Heritage Listing.

Tour the area by tractor-train and enjoy morning tea and BBQ lunch here.

Kidz Camp

April 14-15, 2014 at Winmalee Christian Conference Centre
For children in years 3-6
Flying fox – Trampoline – Giant chess – Indoor heated pool – Beach volley ball – Pool / table tennis tables – Games – Bible discussions – Food – Friends – Heaps of fun.
Cost: $95 per child. (includes one night accommodation, all meals and transport to and from the camp site.) Payment with registration due before Sunday 1st April, 2014.
Travel: By coach fitted with seat belts.
Departure: Meet at Narwee Baptist Church at 8:00am on Monday 14th April.
Arrival: Children to be picked up at Narwee Baptist Church. Expected time of arrival is 4:00pm on Tuesday 15th April.

Speaker: Joe Alberts
Joe is a practicing Clinical Psychologist. He lectures in the field of Group psychotherapy in the Counselling department at Morling College. He has a special interest in Mental Health and presents Mental First Aid Training courses and consults in the field of the management of mental health in organisations. Joe is an active member of Thornleigh Baptist Community Church where he heads up the mentoring initiative and serves as family group leader. Joe is married to Carin and has three children. He loves and rides things with two wheels and is a keen spearfisher.
