The boxes are due back on September 30. The Operation Christmas Child Appeal, is an appeal where we provide shoeboxes with gifts for children this Christmas in the South Pacific region. You can pick up a shoebox after the service and the information brochure which will let you know what type of items you are permitted to place in the shoeboxes.

Service of Shadows

On Thursday night 7.30pm, Nathan Dirs will be leading the Service of Shadows. It is a quiet and moving service, with communion and time to reflect on the dark shadows that fell over Jesus’ life, particularly on the night that he was betrayed.

Riverwood Plaza Outreach

Saturday March 31
9am-1.30pm

We are running a free Easter stall at Riverwood Plaza, and require NBC volunteers to run the stall in shifts from 9am-1.30pm, and to pack the hot cross buns and set up in the morning. Please contact the church office if you can help – churchoffice@narweebaptist.org.au

“The Word, the Voice, the Question of Jesus”

John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics in the University of Oxford, Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science, and Pastoral Advisor at Green Templeton College, Oxford.
He has lectured extensively in North America, Eastern and Western Europe on mathematics, the philosophy of science and the intellectual defence of Christianity.
He has debated Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, and has written several books including God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God? He appeared last month on the ABC’s Q&A panel program and is speaking alongside John Piper at the Oxygen Conference and the One Saviour, One Life, One Night, Don’t Waste It evening.
