David Williams will be continuing our Jonah series at the 9am, 11am and 2pm (Mandarin) services, with Jonah 2:1-3:10. At the 6pm service Brett Hookham will be introducing a new series in 1 Peter, Living in Exile, starting with 1 Peter 1:1-9.
This Sunday at the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be concluding our series in Galatians (6:1-18) with Choose Love. At the 2pm Mandarin service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking on Jesus Heals a Paralytic from Matthew 9:1-8 and at the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be speaking from Genesis 40-50 on The Journey of Promises and Faith… far from over!
At the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on Changed by the Holy Spirit from Galatians 5:13-26. At the 2pm service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking on Jesus has fulfilled the law from Matthew 5:17-47. At 4pm our Youth are having their Sticky Sunday afternoon event including food and roofball. Brett Hookham will be speaking at our special 6pm Youth Service on Where is your treasure? There is your heart.

This Sunday is the 20th Anniversary of Pastor Ange Gratsounas’ ministry here at Narwee Baptist Church, and we are so thankful to God for his faith, commitment and Christ-centred leadership amongst us. We will hear a special message from him at all four services, including the Mandarin service (with translation).
The morning services will be followed by a big morning tea and the evening services with Soup and Sweets.
This Sunday morning, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking from Galatians 4:12- 5:12, on Choose Freedom. At the 2pm Mandarin Service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking about A Heavenly Man from Matthew 5:3-12. At the 6pm service, Tim MacBride will be continuing the series in Genesis, speaking from chapter 39 on Flee Temptation.
At the 9am and 11am services this week, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on Sons not Slaves from Galatians 3:26- 4:11. Lianbo Zhang will be speaking at the 2pm Mandarin service on A Blessed Man from Matthew 5:1-11. At the 6pm service, Ange will also be speaking, but continuing the series in Genesis with chapters 28-36: ‘The God who fights against us & for us.’
Ange Gratsounas will be speaking at the 9am and 11am services on It’s the promise not the law from Galatians 3:15-25. Also at the 11am (bilingual) service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking (in Mandarin, in the upstairs meeting rooms) on Jesus calms the storm from Matthew 8:23-27. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be continuing our series in Genesis speaking on God’s strange choice and its consequences from Genesis 24-27. At the 9am and 11am services, Ange Gratsounas will be speaking from Galatians 3:1-14 on The cursed Jesus brings freedom. At the 2pm service, Lianbo Zhang will be speaking on The faith of the Centurion from Matthew 8:5-13. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will be speaking on A serious test of faith from Genesis 20-23. The evening service will be followed by a Super Supper for May Mission in the hall.
This Sunday in the morning services, we honour our mothers and we will hear from Tim MacBride at the 9am and 11am service times called Jesus’ Family Album from Matthew 1:1-6, 16. Lianbo Zhang will be speaking at the 2pm Mandarin service on The Cry of a Mother from Matthew 15:21-28. At the 6pm service, Brett Hookham will continue our series in Genesis with Can promises remain amidst rebellion and destruction? from Genesis 18-19.
