This week we continue our Sent series with Sent … With a message of Grace. Brett Hookham will be preaching at the 9am, 11am (Bilingual Service) and 6pm service. There will be a sausage sizzle after both morning services and all funds raised will go towards our youth ministry.
Our Quarterly Church Meeting will take place at 1pm.
There will be a Cheap Eats meal after the 6 o’clock service where all funds raised will go towards the Miracle Babies Foundation in their work in supporting premature babies and their families.
This Sunday at all services, we will kick off our launch series for the year, Sent. Ange Gratsounas will be speaking on Sent- For his glory at the 9am, 11am and 6pm service, and Lianbo Zhang will be delivering the same topic in Mandarin at the 2pm service. We invite all to attend and to bring along friend!
Today at our services we will worship a great God and be gripped by a vision of a powerful grace-filled God. Our two morning services resume today at 9am and 11am. At these services and our 6pm evening service we will screen the DVD ‘Indescribable’ featuring the world acclaimed talk by teacher/preacher Louie Giglio. Our Kidz Church will kick off for the year at the 9am service.
At the 2pm Mandarin Service Pastor Lianbo Zhang will speak on Loving your neighbour as yourself from Deuteronomy 5:16-22.
At the 9.30am morning service Brett Hookham will speak on The Lord is King of all: trust him, be wise, serve him from Psalm 2. At the 2pm Mandarin service Lianbo Zhang will speak on Loving God the Most from Deuteronomy 5:1-15. At the 6.00pm evening service Tim MacBride will preach on Jonah.
Please note: next Sunday January 29, we will return to our normal morning service times of 9am and 11am.
At the 9.30am morning service and 2pm Mandarin service, Pastor David Williams will be preaching on Learning to pray for when we face difficult situations from Psalm 4. At the 6pm evening service Pastor Brett Hookham will be preaching on the book of Obadiah.
At the 9.30am service and the 6pm service Pastor Ange will speak on Psalm 3. The topic is From Anxiety to Victory—trust in God in the midst of difficulties.
Pastor Lianbo will be preaching at our 2pm Mandarin Service on Giving Thanks in Everything from Psalm 136.
Pastor Ange will preach on The Wise Way to Live from Psalm 1 at both the 9.30am and 6pm services. We will share in the Lord’s Supper at the 9.30 service. Pastor Lianbo will speak on The Blessing of the New Year from Deuteronomy 8:1-10 at the Mandarin Service at 2pm
At all services we will focus on our vision as a church and consider the theme ‘Sent and the 5 Ms’.
Our purpose is To Magnify God by bringing people to Jesus and Membership in his family, leading them to Christlike Maturity, equipping them for loving Ministry in the church and effective Mission in the world.
Pastor Ange Gratsounas will preach at the 9am & 11am services. Pastor Lianbo Zhang will preach at the Mandarin Service at 2pm. Pastor Brett Hookham will preach at the 6pm service. A cheap eats dinner will follow the evening service.
At this Sunday’s morning services Pastor Brett Hookham will speak on The Hour Has Come from John 12:20-36. The 11am service will be a Bilingual Service with the Mandarin congregation joining us (there will be no 2pm service). Both morning services will be followed by a sausage sizzle. The Annual General Meeting will follow at 1pm. At the 6pm evening service James Foley will continue the series in Romans speaking on God’s Perfect Judgement Part 1 – No Escape from Romans 2:1-16.
