Bibles for the Persecuted Launch

We will partner with Bible League to make a difference in the lives of persecuted Christians, by taking part in the Bibles for the Persecuted 21-day program. Being involved in this program will enable us to personally provide encouragement and strength to persecuted believers through the Bibles provided. Your gifts and prayers will really make a difference.

Week 2 – Faith vs Works or Faith & Works?
What is ‘the Reformation’, why is it important and what effect does it still have today? Come join Edwina Murphy, Morling College Lecturer, as we investigate the Reformation and its Effects.
There will be supper after and a chance to meet with your Home Groups for reflection and prayer.

NBC Families & Friends – Wild Onesie Movie Night

Saturday September 2, 4-8pm

Dinner starts at 5:15pm

Movie: ‘Sing’

· Wear your onesie

· Activities for kids before the movie

· Competition for the best onesie

Bring a bean bag, warm outerwear, and a blanket. Cost – $5 per person or $20 per family, includes sausage sizzle, salads and drinks. Tickets pre-purchased after services, from the church office, or at the door on the night. RSVP to the Church Office 9534 2699 no later than 20th August for catering purposes.

Please remember to bring in your shoeboxes filled with gifts today- please check that you have:

  1. appropriate gifts for your chosen child’s gender and age
  2.  a $10 donation with each box to cover shipping costs
  3. a tag on the top of your box with your chosen child’s gender and age bracket
